2021 - A Year of God's Faithfulness
Tuscarora
Dear friend,
In 1972, God began telling a story on the grounds of Tuscarora. It’s a story of God using many people to further His kingdom for His glory. I am blessed to have witnessed so much of that story, just as I am blessed to be here today at the beginning of a yearlong celebration of Tuscarora’s 50th anniversary. We kicked off our celebrations at Christmas Weekend, and we were able to unveil renovations to the Senum-Thompson Center in honor of this important milestone! We are happy to be continuing capital improvement projects that were stalled due to the health crisis. I can’t wait to share with you more details for next year's events, and I hope you will plan to visit us to join in!
The last two years have been challenging, but it is in these circumstances that we see God’s hand most clearly. God provided endurance for our staff who worked tirelessly, and often well outside their job descriptions, to welcome over 9,000 guests this year. God provided volunteers every time they were needed. These volunteers made beds in housekeeping, scooped ice cream in the snack shop, and served meals in the dining room. God provided funds when we needed them most through generous donors who ensured Tuscarora was well equipped to thrive in difficult circumstances.
Thank you for any part you have played in Tuscarora’s story – especially in the last two years as we were reminded time and time again that our God is faithful. Your continued support is essential to the ministry of Tuscarora and will help us continue the life-changing work of spreading the Gospel to everyone we can. There is still time to make a year-end gift to Tuscarora Inn and Conference Center, and I hope you will join me in supporting another year of ministry.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
