Tuscarora hires a team of summer staff dedicated to growing in their relationship with God, serving Christ, and helping in various roles around the conference center.

Teen Week, our week long camp program for students who have graduated 7th-11th grades, takes place July 21-27. In order to allow every student who is interested in attending we do not hold an official week of summer staff. However, many students choose to continue their session and experience Teen Week while getting paid for their service. Let us know if you are interested in this unique opportunity!

Our Summer Staff Program aims to bring students closer to Christ and one another through a summer of meaningful work, bible studies, spiritual growth, fun activities, and community living. Summer staff serve our Tuscarora summer guests during one of our busiest and most exciting seasons of the year! .

Summer Staff live together in our Overlook building, and take part in fun staff activities (like girls’ and guys’ nights, boating on the Deleware River, mini golf, group games, swimming, and lots more), bible studies, and worship together. The Summer Staff is led by college-aged counselors with a passion for Christ and for serving students.

Tuscarora is a place where people encounter Christ for the first time, where they commit their lives to Him, where they meet lifelong friends, and where lives are changed forever.

Requirements

All Summer Staff applicants must:

  • Have a personal relationship with God through faith in Christ

  • Have the desire to serve God and others

  • Must be 14 years of age or older by the start of the session you are working.

  • All Tuscarora Employees are required by law to have three clearances completed after acceptance. (All Clearances are good for 60 months.)
