Looking for a Summer You’ll Never Forget? Join Our Summer Staff Program!

Get ready for a summer that brings you closer to Christ and connects you with an awesome community. As part of Tuscarora’s Summer Staff, you’ll spend your days making a real impact by serving in various jobs throughout our conference center. Then in your downtime - you will be growing spiritually, and having a blast with other teens and young adults. From Bible studies to epic group activities, you’ll be surrounded by friends and mentors who share your passion for faith and fun.

You'll stay with the Summer Staff crew in our Ribe building, where late-night hangouts, games, and downtime make it feel like home. Our college-aged counselors lead Bible studies, worship nights, and plenty of fun activities—like girls’ and guys’ nights, boating on the Delaware River, mini golf, swimming, and so much more.

Tuscarora is a place of transformation, where people find faith, make lifelong friends, and experience God in life-changing ways.

BONUS WEEK: JULY 20-26

Teen Week, our week long camp program for students who have graduated 7th-11th grades, takes place July 20-26. In order to allow every student who is interested in attending we do not hold an official week of summer staff. However, many students choose to continue their session and experience Teen Week while getting paid for their service. Let us know if you are interested in this unique opportunity!

  • Yes! Compensation begins at $200 a week in addition to room, board, and activities. Repeat staff members and counselors will receive a higher rate of pay.

  • Yes! Everyone has at least one day off a week, and additional time off can be coordinated depending on your summer commitment.

  • Check out the bottom of our page for each positions description!

  • Please fill out your application and select “counselor” as your position. Remember, counselors must be at least one year post high school.

  • No! We do ask that you commit to at least one full session, and add additional weeks if you can! Though its not required, many people do choose to spend their full summer at Tuscarora.

  • Yes, to ensure your spot on summer staff please have your application completed by May 1, 2025.

Are you ready to join us?

Our ideal candidate has:

  • A personal relationship with God through faith in Christ

  • Have the desire to serve God and others

  • Must be 14 years of age or older by the start of the session you are working.

  • Must be one year out of high school to serve as a counselor

  • All Tuscarora Employees are required by law to have three clearances completed after acceptance. (All Clearances are good for 60 months.)
